Pleasanton All-Abilities Playground <br /> r r m Scope of Services <br /> January 15, 2021 <br /> „u design Page 2 of 9 <br /> group <br /> Task B: Community Outreach <br /> Subtask B.1: Public Outreach Workshop #1 <br /> RRM will prepare for and facilitate a virtual public workshop to obtain initial input and feedback <br /> on the vision for the project. Depending on what staff decides, this may be a good opportunity <br /> to present some very preliminary design thoughts related to character and potential themes. <br /> Materials will include imagery of playgrounds and conceptual images of custom and pre-designed <br /> play features. During the virtual workshop activities such as "townhall" style discussions, break <br /> out groups, Google Sheets for live note taking, and live surveys will be utilized to collect <br /> feedback. Following the workshop, RRM will provide a summary of community input, as well as <br /> the survey utilized during the workshop for staff to post on the City's website to collect <br /> additional feedback. <br /> Deliverables: <br /> • Facilitate one (I) virtual workshop, including all graphic materials for the task;summary of <br /> feedback; online survey for the City to post on its website <br /> Subtask B.2: Public Outreach Workshop #2 <br /> Depending on COVID restrictions, RRM will prepare for and facilitate either a virtual workshop <br /> or an in-the-park workshop to obtain feedback on the two park design alternatives created in <br /> the Conceptual Plan Alternatives task (Task C.I). In addition to the graphic materials created in <br /> Task C.I, RRM will prepare all materials necessary to conduct the workshop and gather <br /> feedback from participants. Following the workshop, RRM will provide a summary of community <br /> input. <br /> Deliverables: <br /> • Facilitate one (I) virtual or on-site workshop, including all graphic materials for the task; <br /> summary of feedback <br /> Subtask B.3: City Events <br /> RRM will attend and support staff in presenting at up to two (2) city-run events such as Farmer's <br /> Market booths. Support materials for these events will be prepared in other tasks, such as B.2 <br /> and B.3 Public Meetings, C.I Draft Conceptual Plan Alternatives, and C.2 Final Conceptual Plan. <br /> Deliverables: <br /> • Attend up to two (2) city-run public events <br /> Subtask B.4: Stakeholder Meetings <br /> RRM's project manager will prepare for and attend up to seven (7) meetings with community <br /> members and groups as identified by the City as key stakeholders to provide project updates <br />
