In both cases, reductions of approximately 77 percent of the fee were <br /> approved for the storage component of the projects, and no reduction was approved for <br /> the office square-footage in both projects. As shown in the Table 1, because the <br /> Affordable Housing Fee was substantially lower at that time than it is today (i.e., $0.45 <br /> and $0.52 compared to $13.02 today), the total dollar amounts of the requested <br /> reductions were also substantially lower than is the case in the current request from <br /> Public Storage. <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> The subject project includes a net increase of 165,756 square-feet and will have a <br /> maximum of five employees.
