Public Feedback on Development Impact Fee Study (May 1 through September 12, 2018)
Page 2
8. Has there been any attempt to normalize the fee comparison to account for Mello
Roos districts in the other cities?
a. Staff response — No. That would be a difficult undertaking for several
reasons, including but not limited to the varying geographic areas and the
fact that Mello Roos districts sunset after a set period of time.
9. Break out transportation, parks and public facilities fees in comparisons.
a. Staff response —We'll do that to the extent there are comparable fees.
10.Show fees all-in to develop in Pleasanton.
a. Staff response —This work has been done.
11.Employment density for the industrial/distribution category is more like 2,000 to
5,000 square feet and not 1,000 square feet.
a. Staff response — If it's a mega warehouse (which Pleasanton does not
have nor expect to have) then the number could be as low as 350 (see
page 76 of this report from San Jose -
https://www.sanjoseca.gov/DocumentCenterNiew/53472)
b.
