(Conditional Uses). Correct clerical error from Ordinance 2155 where "an" should have
been "a".
Master Fee Schedule—Attachment 2 is the proposed resolution to amend the Master Fee
Schedule to:
(A)Set $285 as the penalty for a person blocking access to, or impeding the use of, a
designated disabled parking space per Cal. Vehicle Code §22507.8. For example, if
a person parks their car in the drive aisle in a manner that blocks access to available
disabled parking spaces, they could be subject to this penalty. This is the same
penalty amount as when a non-qualified person parks in a disabled parking space.
(B)Set $100 as the annual fee for sites connected to the City's recycled water system
and which are using recycled water. This pays for the cost of staff to annually visit
each site to ensure recycled water connections meet health and safety standards, as
well as confirm training by each owner's site manager and documents designating
persons responsible for on-going compliance and emergencies.
Authorize City Engineer to Execute Temporary Right of Entry Agreements —Attachment
3 is a proposed resolution to authorize the City Engineer to execute temporary right of
entry agreements for construction projects. These are situations where the City needs to
enter private property for a construction project. For example, an agreement to receive
the right to have City and City contractor's equipment operate on private property adjacent
to a public sidewalk that is being replaced as part of a capital improvement project. These
are standard agreements where authorizing City Engineer execution is more responsive
to time constraints and field conditions with construction projects.
Submitted by: Fiscal Review: Approve by:
(g,14 f449-%Th AA IL
Larissa Seto Tina Olson Nelson Fialho
Assistant City Attorney Director of Finance City Manager
Attachments:
1. Proposed omnibus ordinance'
2. Proposed resolution to amend the Master Fee Schedule
3. Proposed resolution authorizing the City Engineer to enter into temporary right of
entry agreements for construction projects
Note:The proposed ordinance shows proposed modifications in strikeout for deletions and underline for
additions. This track changes format is to assist the reader in understanding the amendments. If the
ordinance is introduced, then at the subsequent meeting where the ordinance is adopted, the changes will
be shown in final format for codification.
