ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN OMNIBUS ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ADOPTING MUNICIPAL CODE AMENDMENTS REGARDING: §2.08.190 AUTHORIZE <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE REGULATIONS FOR THE CEMETERY; §2.34.080 CHANGE DATE <br /> OF LIBRARY COMMISSION MEETINGS; §5.24.010 TIME PERIOD FOR BUSINESS <br /> LICENSE PAYMENTS AND ACCEPTING POSTMARKS; §6.40.050 ADJUST TAXI <br /> INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS; §6.40.140 PROVIDING TIME FOR PROCESSING <br /> TAXI DRIVER APPLICATIONS; §9.24.040 & §13.08.190 CORRECT CLERICAL <br /> ERROR INVOLVING ORDINANCES 2125 AND 2136; §11.08.020 CLARIFY CITY <br /> TRAFFIC ENGINEER POSITION; §11.36.020 ALLOW WHITE AND YELLOW CURBS <br /> TO BE RESTRICTED PER SIGNAGE; §11.36.100 ALLOW TRAFFIC ENGINEER TO <br /> ADJUST NO PARKING ZONE NEAR FIRE HYDRANTS; §13.04.050 PROHIBIT <br /> PRIVATE PAINTING ON PUBLIC CURBS; CHAPTER 17.16 CLARIFICATION OF <br /> TREE PRESERVATION PROCEDURES; AND §18.124.070 & 18.124.240 & 18.124.270 <br /> CORRECT INTERNAL REFERENCES AND A CLERICAL ERROR <br /> WHEREAS, the Municipal Code needs amendments to correct internal references <br /> and clerical code errors, reflect current positions and titles, and set forth current practices; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, this omnibus ordinance allows a single ordinance by the Council to <br /> simultaneously bring up-to-date and correct multiple provisions of the Municipal Code. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. The Municipal Code is amended as provided in Exhibit A, attached <br /> and incorporated by this reference. <br /> Section 2. A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within <br /> fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times", a newspaper of general <br /> circulation published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance shall be <br /> posted for fifteen (15) days in the City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its <br /> adoption. <br /> Section 3. This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after its passage <br /> and adoption. <br /> The foregoing Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council <br /> of the City of Pleasanton on August 15, 2017 by the following vote: <br /> 1 <br />
