Ms. Reisner indicated she would update the report and Mr. Dolan stated that staff <br />would try to provide a report that would be easier to understand. <br />Commissioner Soby discussed with Ms. Reisner moving the Summerhill property into the <br />ownership category. <br />Commissioners agreed to approve this item on the Consent Calendar but continue discussions <br />at the next meeting. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Meyers, seconded by Commissioner Soby, to approve <br />item 6 of the Consent Calendar with the understanding that appropriate corrections will be made <br />to the report. The motion was approved unanimously. <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br />7. Introductions I Awards I Recognitions <br />Mr. Dolan introduced Frances Reisner to Commissioners and stated that the City of Pleasanton <br />was pleased to have found her and knowing she will be able to follow on with the work done by <br />Mr. Erickson. <br />Mr. Dolan also introduced the new members of the Commission and asked them to provide <br />information about their work and background. <br />Commissioner Gaidos advised that he is an attorney with the DA's office and had been <br />encouraged by members of the Police Department and others to apply for a position on the <br />Commission. He commented on a recent letter that had been distributed from City Manager <br />Nelson Fiahlo that he has found very helpful. <br />Commissioner Galvin stated that he has been a member of several other City of Pleasanton <br />Committees. He has spent considerable time working on social service issues and is looking <br />forward to being a member of the Housing Commission. <br />Commissioner Meyers commented on the many changes she has seen growing up in <br />Pleasanton and advised that she is a Deputy City Attorney for the City of Oakland. <br />8. Review and Approval of an Affordable Housing Agreement with Ponderosa Homes II for <br />the Rose Avenue Estates development located at 1851 Rose Avenue (PUD -99) <br />Mr. Dolan provided information about the Planned Unit Development (PUD) approval being <br />pursued by Ponderosa Homes to construct 19 single family homes on an approximately 9 -2 <br />acre parcel located at 1851 Rose Avenue bordering the north side of the Alameda County <br />Fairgrounds. <br />The Commission was advised by Mr. Dolan that the City's Inclusionary Zoning Ordinance (IZO) <br />requires new single - family residential projects of fifteen (15) units or more to provide at least <br />1'age -3- <br />
