4. Quarterly Update Regarding Miscellaneous Housing Projects and Issues (4" Quarter <br />2015) <br />5. Quarterly Report of Housing Commission Activities (4`" Quarter 2015) <br />6. Quarterly Inventory of Below- Market Housing in Pleasanton (4'" Quarter 2015) <br />Commissioners Soby and Lombardo indicated they had questions regarding items 2, 5 and 6 of <br />the Consent Calendar and asked that these items be removed to allow for further discussions. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Galvin, seconded by Commissioner Gaidos to approve <br />items 3 and 4 on the Consent Calendar. The motion was approved unanimously. <br />Item 2 on the Consent Calendar - Commissioner Lombardo discussed with staff and Barcelon <br />representative Sean Barcelon, his concerns regarding budget line items for City loans and <br />possible budgeting changes to the budget to avoid skewing problems. Mr. Barcelon indicated <br />he would convey these concerns to Eden Housing and ask that changes be made. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Lombardo, seconded by Commission Soby, to approve <br />item 2 on the Consent Calendar. The motion was approved unanimously. <br />Item 5 of the Consent Calendar - Commissioner Soby questioned whether any progress had <br />been made to Commission priorities that had been discussed at a prior meeting on February 18, <br />2015 and whether there were any concerns that the Commission needed to address. <br />Mr. Dolan discussed the priorities and indicated that staff was unaware that they should be <br />addressing these in the quarterly report, but should put something together when needed to be <br />addressed by the Commission. He advised Commissioner Soby that staff would look at each of <br />the priorities and determine if any needed to be reviewed by the Commission. Mr. Dolan <br />provided information about the work currently being done on "impact fees ". <br />Commissioner Soby discussed with Mr. Dolan the mixed -use concept and commented on his <br />concerns regarding what recommendations are being made on this. <br />Commissioner Lombardo was provided information by Mr. Dolan about zoning amendments <br />addressed with regard to RHNA, and Commissioner Galvin suggested objectives be included in <br />the quarterly report. Mr. Dolan indicated that staff would advise the Commission on what the <br />time -frame might be on the priorities. <br />Commissioner Meyers asked that the priorities be included in a future agenda and <br />Commissioner Soby confirmed with staff that future quarterly reports will include information <br />about the seven (7) priorities and their updates. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Soby, seconded by Commissioner Galvin to approve item <br />5 on the Consent Calendar. The motion was approved unanimously. <br />Item 6 on the Consent Calendar - Commissioner Lombardo asked for confirmation and <br />reconciliation information on how the items in this report affected the RHNA numbers and <br />compared information from this report with information obtained from a City Council report. He <br />questioned how accurate the numbers were within the report. <br />Mr. Dolan discussed the different items and formats used by staff for tracking affordable housing <br />Page -2- <br />
