8. MA'I'TER INITIATED BY COUNCIL <br /> <br />Meetings with DSRSD <br /> <br />Ms. Mohr asked about scheduling meetings with the Dublin San Ramon Services District. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta indicated that at one time the Council representative to TWA and LAVWMA <br />would meet with representatives from those organizations on an informal basis with no decisions <br />being made. Since the change in the Brown Act, the representatives can no longer meet <br />informally. DSRSD staff has expressed an interest in resuming meetings with representatives <br />from both agencies in some format, with public notice. Ms. Acosta indicated this would be <br />included in the report regarding other Council appointments. <br /> <br />LAFCO Decision regarding East Dublin <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis requested an agenda item to request LAFCO to reconsider its decision <br />regarding the East Dublin area. She requested a formal response on the adequacy of sewer and <br />water availability and guarantees that servicing the area will not impact Pleasanton. <br /> <br />There was a break at 8:55 p.m. <br /> <br />The meeting was reconvened at 9:07 p.m. <br /> <br />Foothill High School Band <br /> <br /> Jacob Trujillo, 4630 Herrin Way, indicated the Foothill Band has accepted an invitation <br />to go to London and Paris for the opening ceremonies for the Chunnel to serve as representatives <br />of Pleasanton and the United States. He requested a grant from the City of Pleasanton in the <br />sum of $20,000 to $30,000 and requested local corporations to match that amount. <br /> <br />9.
