The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Approval of Proposed Distribution of Safer Off-Systems Road Program Funds <br /> Mr. Sooby presented his report dated May 3, 1977, regarding this item. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Herlihy, <br /> that Resolution No. 77-137, approving proposed distribution of Safer Off-Systems <br /> Road Program Funds, be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />JO NOES: None <br />~ ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Application of George Canessa to use Existing Septic Tank to serve new Commercial <br /> Development at 3716 Stanley Boulevard <br /> Mr, Sooby presented his report dated May 4, 1977, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> After considerable discussion, it was moved by Councilmember LeClaire, and <br /> seconded by Councilmember Herlihy, that the request of George Canessa to use <br /> Existing Septic Tank to serve new Commercial Development at 3716 Stanley Boule- <br /> vard, be denied. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy and LeClaire <br /> ~ NOES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, <br /> that Resolution No. 77-138, approving the application of George Canessa to use <br /> an Existing Septic Tank to serve the new Commercial Development at 3716 Stanley <br /> Boulevard, be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br /> NOES: Councilmembers Herlihy and LeClaire <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Matters for the Information of the Council <br /> Mr. Campbell presented the Water Use Rate, which revealed the usage had <br /> increased. <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br /> Further Discussion~ Re: Federal UnemploZment Compensation Act <br /> Mr. Scheidig presented his report regarding this matter, stating that he had <br /> been advised that the fee for participation in this litigation would be reimbursed <br /> on a pro-rata basis, depending on size of the City, if the necessary funding was <br /> secured. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, <br /> that Resolution No. 77-139, authorizing the City Attorney to participate in <br /> litigation regarding the Federal Unemployment Compensation Act, and amending <br /> the City Attorney's Budget in the amount of $2-,500.00 to cover costs, be adopted. <br /> <br /> 8. 5/9/77 <br /> <br /> <br />
