The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: Councilmember Brandes <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br />Authorization for Slurry Seal.Frojects <br /> Mr. Sooby presented his report dated May 3, 1977, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Herlihy, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, <br />that Resolution No. 77-133, authorizing Slurry Seal projects as set forth by the <br />Director of Engineering Services in his report dated May 3, 1977, allocating <br />$15,300.00 for this work, and authorizing call for bids, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Modification of Safer Roads Demonstration Program <br /> Mr. Sooby presented his report dated April 22, 1977, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Herlihy, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, <br />that Resolution No. 77-134, approving the following modifications to Pleasanton's <br />Safer Roads Demonstration Program: Delete replacement of longitudinal ditch with <br />pipe along north side of Bernal Avenue, and add the following projects: (1) Widen <br />Spring Street at Southern Pacific Railroad tracks; (2) Upgrade street name signs <br />in Jensen Tract area; and (3) Installation of automatic gates at Rose Avenue <br />crossing of Western Pacific Railroad tracks, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Authorization to Call for Bids for Controllers for Main Street Traffic Signals <br /> Mr. Sooby presented his report dated May 3, 1977, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Herlihy, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, <br />that Resolution No. 77-135, approving plans and specifications for controllers <br />for the Main Street Traffic Signals and authorizing call for bids, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Approval of Plans and Specifications and Authorization to Call for Bids on Harris <br />Acres Water Line Improvem~nt~ Pro3ect 77-3 <br /> Mr. Sooby presented his report dated May 3, 1977, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Herlihy, <br />that Resolution No. 77-136, approving plans and specifications for Harris Acres <br />Water Line Improvements, Project No. 77-3, and authorizing call for bids, be <br />adopted. <br /> <br /> 7. 5/9/77 <br /> <br /> <br />
