Mr. Harris presented a Bike Path Plan of the area to Johnson Industrial <br />Drive showing alternate routes that could be used as Bike Trails. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember LeClaire, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Brandes, instructing staff to investigate all Bike Trail alter- <br />natives in the vicinity of Skateworld and present a report recommending the <br />most feasible Path. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Mr. Ken Keith, representing Skateworld, stated his firm indicated they <br />would use Shuttle Buses to transport children until appropriate safety pro- <br />cedures can be established. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Le- <br />Claire, that Resolution No. 77-187, approving Holding Tank application for <br />Skateworld on Johnson Industrial Drive subject to the six conditions set forth <br />in the report of the Director of Engineering Services dated July 6, 1977, be <br />adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and ~{ayor Philcox <br />NOES: ·None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br />Report~ Re: LAVWMA Joint Powers Agreement amendments made by Livermore <br /> Mr. Scheidig presented his report dated July 6, 1977, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember LeClaire, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, <br />that Resolution No. 77-188, approving minor modifications to the Joint Exercise <br />of Powers Agreement as recommended by the City of Livermore and authorizing <br />execution of a modified Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement by the Mayor, be <br />adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and }~yor Philcox <br />NOES: Councilmember Brandes <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Consideration of Conflict of Interest Code <br /> Mr. Scheidig presented his report dated July 5, 1977, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember LeClaire, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, <br />that Ordinance No. 828, to be read by title only and waiving further reading <br />thereof, adding Section 1-2.04, Article 1 (City Council), Chapter 2 (Officers <br />and Employees), Title I (Administration), of the Ordinance Code of the City of <br />Pleasanton relating to Conflict of Interest, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, LeClaire, Mercer, and }hyor Philcox <br />NOES: Councilmember Herlihy <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> 9. 7/11/77 <br /> <br /> <br />
