CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS Councilmembers presented various Committee Reports for the information of the Council. 5~TTERg INITIATED BY COUNEIL M~MBEIS Councilmember LeClaire stated that tall shubbery at the intersection of Greenwood Road and Black Avenue was causing a dangerous situation. Mr. Camp- bell advised he would correct the problem. Councilmember Brandes stated he needed more time to study the material in the agenda packets before meetings. After discussion, it w-as moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, that Resolution No. 77-189, changing regular City Council meetings from the 2nd and 4th Monday nights to the 2nd and 4th Tuesday nights each month, effective August 1, 1977, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox NOES: Councilmember LeClaire ABSENT: None Councilmember Mercer requested that the next Neighborhood Meeting be scheduled for October 4, 1977 in Pleasanton Valley 5~yor Philcox presented a bill from the U. S. Conference of Mayors for him to join that organization. Council determined that the Mayor would not join this organization. .Mayor Philcox presented a letter from COVA requesting Pleasanton City Council to reconsider their decision to not be a part of this agency. After discussion, Council continued any decision of this matter pending further investigation by the ~yor. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business at 12:00 P.M., it was moved by Councilmember LeClaire, and seconded by Councilmember Herlihy, that the meeting be adjourned to meet again in Regular Session at 8:00 P.M., on July 25, 1977, at the Pleasanton Council Chambers.
