209 <br /> <br /> Mr. Chris Haynam, 3035 Ferndale Court, member of the <br />Stoneridge Drive Specific Plan citizens committee, recommended <br />approval of the project. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to the application <br />or the negative declaration. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the <br />public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Mohr, that on the basis of a review of an initial <br />environmental study done for this project and a finding that no <br />significant environmental impact would occur as outlined in the <br />City's guidelines and a further finding that a negative <br />declaration is appropriate in connection with PUD-89-1, the <br />application of Far West Associates to construct a 124-unit <br />residential project and related improvements to be located on an <br />approximately 20 acre site located easterly of the terminus of <br />Stoneridge Drive, that Resolution No. 89-201 be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmembers Brandes and Tarver <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Mohr, after finding that the development plan is <br />consistent with the goals and policies of the General Plan and the <br />purposes of the PUD District, that Ordinance No. 1416 be <br />introduced, to be read by title only and waiving further reading <br />thereof, approving PUD-89-1, the application of Far West <br />Associates for development plan approval to construct a 124-unit <br />residential project and related improvements to be located on an <br />approximately 20 acre site located easterly of the terminus of <br />Stoneridge Drive, subject to conditions set forth in Staff Report <br />89:182, but modifying the site plan to relocate a one-story unit <br />next to three one-story units across from the arroyo mocho and <br />relocating a two-story unit to replace the one-story unit, <br />changing Condition No. 8 to state the public service easement <br />begins at the property line and goes through the property as <br />necessary, that Condition No. 21 be corrected to read 23 feet, and <br />Condition No. 12 be modified to conform to the final Stoneridge <br />Drive Specific Plan. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmembers Brandes and Tarver <br /> <br />item 6b <br />City Review of Plans for the Reqradinq of Building Pad Areas for <br />Tract 5835, Vintage Heights II, Lots 14, 15, 16, and 57, located <br />at 2980, 2985, 2977 Amorso Court and 953 Finovino, respectively. <br />Zoning for the property is R-1-6500 (Single-family Residential) <br /> <br /> - 6 - 5-2-89 <br /> <br /> <br />
