236 <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer added that according to Mr. Cooper, the owner has <br /> not watered the trees in several years. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Brandes, and seconded by Mr. Mercer, that <br /> Ordinance No. 1463 be introduced, to be read by title only and <br /> waiving further reading thereof, approving PUD-90-5, the <br /> application of James Fazzari for development plan approval to <br /> create an approximately 1.3 acre site to accommodate an existing <br /> single-family residence and related improvements and an <br /> approximately 3.7 acre site for future phase development for an <br /> approximately five acre site located at 3710 Trenery Drive, as set <br /> forth in the Staff Report, with the deletion of Condition No. 11 <br /> of the Conditions of Approval. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Item 6b <br /> RZ-90-03, Application of the City of Pleasanton to Prezone an <br /> Approximately 2.15 Acre Site (Gudaitis, 1.58 Acres; Thompson, .57 <br /> Acres) Located at 375 and 387 Sycamore Road on the South Side of <br /> Sycamore Road, Approximately 200 Feet West of the intersection <br /> with Sunol Boulevard to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - <br /> Medium Density Residential District or to Any Other Zoning <br /> District Consistent with the General Plan <br /> <br /> Consider Adoption of a Negative Declaration <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 90:201) regarding the <br /> matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer declared the public hearing open on the <br /> application. <br /> <br /> Mr. John Severini, 2911 Severini Lane in Castro Valley, <br /> representing the applicants, stated that the Staff Report <br /> presented the issues in a very objective manner and that the <br /> applicants concur with its recommendations. He requested Council <br /> to support the staff's recommendation to prezone the parcels to <br /> PUD - Medium Density. <br /> <br /> Mr. Bill Coupe, 1976 Pulsar Avenue in Livemore, who holds <br /> the option on the Marshall property through Tri-Mesa Development <br /> Company, indicated that he supported the proposal to prezone the <br /> two properties to Medium Density Residential. <br /> <br /> Ms. Joy Macari, 455 Sycamore Road, requested Council to defer <br /> making any decisions on the prezoning request until the North <br /> Sycamore Specific Plan (NSSP) and the Environmental Impact Report <br /> (EIR) are completed and some major planning issues on this portion <br /> <br /> - 6 - <br /> 5-15-90 <br /> <br /> <br />
