He <br />pointed out that there is a very high assessment rate on these <br />properties and that if this community is to provide more jobs in <br />Pleasanton, the City should not impose restrictions that would <br />impede the development of North Pleasanton. REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br />Item lla <br />Report Reqardinq Hillside Open Space Policies, Standards and Access <br /> <br /> Ms. Bengtson presented her report (SR 90:410) regarding the <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brandes commented that the Hillside Open Space Policies <br />Report is connected with the Foothill Road Realignment Study and <br />that it would appropriate to consider the two studies together. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer proposed that the Report be considered after the <br />Ridgelands Citizens' Committee comes up with its recommendations <br />for the Ridgelands. <br /> <br /> Mr. Butler agreed that the Report has some bearing on the <br />Foothill Study but that he did not see any connection between the <br />Report and the Ridgelands issues. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr commented that this Report would be concerned about <br />the policy on development below 960 feet. <br /> <br /> Mr. Butler asked Ms. Bengtson if there were policies on the <br />Report that would be connected with issues on the Ridgelands. <br /> <br /> Ms. Bengtson replied that the policies were related to the <br />Foothill corridor rather than to the Ridgelands. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Brandes, and seconded by Mr. Butler, that <br />the Hillside Open Space Policies Report be considered together with <br />the Foothill Road Realignment Study. <br /> <br /> 10-16-90 <br /> - 23 - <br /> <br /> <br />
