He
stated that perhaps if Mr. Cordtz had his facts correct, he would
not need to insult the Mayor and Mr. Butler.

Mr. Cordtz stated that if he were a City official who had
$1000 worth of stock he would place the money in trust so that he
could vote on such issues.

Mayor Mercer responded that this was not a viable option.

No action was required or taken by the Council on this item.

Item 12b
Pro~ect schedulinq for the Advanced Planninq Division (SR92:228)

Item 8b
Appointment of San FranciscoProperty Steering Committee (SR92:240)

Mayor Mercer asked that the minutes reflect that Mark Sweeney
was voted by the Mayor's Affordable Housing Task Force to be its
representative on the Steering Committee. He believed that there should be a
citizens only committee to meet later with Council and the Planning
Commission regarding the objectives and how they relate to the
General Plan. He was greatly concerned with the timing of this and
the participation of the Council and Commissions.

John Moore, J. Patrick Land, stated that he concurred with
staff recommendation and requested that Council agree with the
outline presented by staff regarding his property and the South
Pleasanton area. He wanted to start processing plans for his
project. This process would include an explanation of where the
road was planned to be placed in reference to the North Sycamore
Plan.

Mayor Mercer asked if Mr. Moore paid for the study which was
done on the golf course area.

Mr. Moore answered that originally they had agreed to pay for
the study. At this time, he agreed to pay for the study for the
General Plan for the area.
