When school is not in session as defined by the Pleasanton Unified School District, one <br />traffic lane may be closed within Valley Avenue from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. No lane closure is <br />permitted outside of these hours. <br />Contractor can propose shoulder closures of side streets and closures of right turn pockets <br />on Valley Avenue from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the exception of signalized intersections. <br />Closures of right turn pockets must leave 50' available for the travelling public. <br />School calendars can be accessed at https://www.pleasantonusd.net/ <br />SECTION 3. CLEARING AND GRUBBING <br />3-03B Extent of Work <br />Replace with: <br />Existing landscaping shall be removed to the minimum extent possible to access the work. <br />All removed materials shall be properly disposed of in accordance with Section 17-2.03D, <br />"Disposal of Materials," of the State Specifications. <br />SECTION 15. CONCRETE IMPROVEMENTS <br />15-02A Portland Cement Concrete <br />Replace 2nd paragraph with: <br />Concrete shall meet the requirements as included on Sheet S-1 of the Contract Plans and <br />section 15-02A of the City Standard Specifications. <br />Concrete removal shall be to the nearest score line per section 15-03B of the City Standard <br />Specifications. <br />SECTION 19. IRRIGATION <br />19-OID Damage to Property <br />Repairs and Restoration of Irrigation System and Components: Prior to the start of <br />construction the Contractor shall coordinate with Public Works Department/Parks Division <br />staff to verify the condition of the existing irrigation system. The Contractor shall repair or <br />replace to match or better irrigation systems and components that are damaged during <br />construction or by Contractor activities. Work in repairing irrigation systems and <br />components shall be in accordance with the City Standard Specifications and as required <br />for existing irrigation systems.
