We find a collaborative approach between the client team and consultant team to be
the most productive and enjoyable. Thus, our team has crafted an iterative, collaborative
approach to this project.
Task 1: Kick-off Meeting/Site Visit
Our team will meet the client team on-site for a project kick-off meeting. We will review
the maintenance goals and general approach to the project by walking and flagging
the maintenance locations along the trail. The kick-off meeting will be held prior to
construction start; the goal of the kick-off meeting is to formalize the maintenance
solutions, constraints, answer any site-based questions, and schedule material delivery (if
needed).
Task 2: Maintenance
Our team will perform maintenance/renovation on approximately 3 miles of the Callippe
Preserve Trail (this excludes the Westbridge Lane section and the section that is on a
water tank access road). The Pointe team will use a mini excavator for initial earth work
and shaping and hand tools to complete the finish work. The mini excavator is classified
as 3000-3500 lbs. and will not be wider than 36 inches.
Class 2, Equestrian Trail Specifications*
Tread Width: 24”- 36”
Design Surface: Native, <6” protrusions
common, obstacles 14”
Design Grade: 5%-15% for short sections
Clearing: Height 9’-10’ Width 24”- 48” with
some light vegetation may encroach into
clearing area
Design Turn: 2’- 3’
* final specifications will need to be
agreed upon during site visit
PROJECT APPROACH
Docusign Envelope ID: DC6BDBD2-15FB-4A32-AD1D-259624389679Docusign Envelope ID: 2462BFEF-7321-437F-941F-04E5906B4A10
