What is the difference in these with regards to who is responsible for their adjustment. -All PG&E va ults are to be adjusted by PG&E. The "By Others, Typ . (typical)" is sometimes only shown once to keep the plans legible as much as possible. Where the typical is being mentioned, this should apply to all project plans. I) Please confirm when the plans call out for R/R of C/G, that these items will be paid for as part of Bid Item # 10. There are locations where curb and gutter replacement call outs extend thru an existing curb ramp or driveway, with the drawing only show that a portion of the valley gutter(@ driveways) getting replaced. Please review sheet A 1-2 that the indicate concrete removal is only within the Right of Way limits. No removal of the complete valley gutter or apron section at the curb return. See attached drawing markup and existing site conditions. Please confirm limits of removal for this item that is measure per linear foot. Yes , call out/or curb/gutter removal and replacement will be paid out per bid Item No. 10 per linear foot (LF), except at locations where the work is included in the lump sum (LS) bid item where the called-out quantities are provided for information purposes. -At this location , the RIR 40 LF of curb and gutter includes 10 LF of curb/gutter and 30 LF of valley gutter. The 30 LF of valley gutter will be measured and paid for under curb and gutter pay item . The contractor will saw cut the valley gutter at the apron section and tie into the limits of curb removal. The actual limit of the replacement will be marked, measured and paid for accordingly. J) Please confirm that the contractor will be allowed to take a traffic lane (with approved TC Plans closures for the replacement of the flatwork scope) -Lane closure to be in accordance with the approved TCP and per Section 2, Traffic Control.
