r-

ROLL CALL VOTE

AYES:
NOES:
ABSTAIN:
ABSENT:

Commissioners Kameny, Maas, and Sullivan
None
None
Commissioners Arkin and Roberts

Resolution No. PC-2002-57 was entered and adopted as motioned.

e. PSP-3 and PUD-82-10-10M, Allen Roberts and Robert Grove
General Plan conformity determination, Vineyard Corridor Specific Plan
Amendment, and PUD development plan modification to reconfigure the lots
located at 24,27, and 28 Grey Eagle Court and the City of Pleasant on's Bonde II
water tank property in order to relocate the lot and building envelope area at 24
Grey Eagle Court to generally south of the water tank site, to develop general
design criteria for the new lot, and to expand the building envelope area for 28
Grey Eagle Court. Zoning for the property is PUD-LDR/OS (Plarmed Unit
Development - Low Density Residential/Open Space) district and the Vineyard
Corridor Specific Plan. The Plarming Commission will also consider the negative
declaration prepared for the project.

This item was continued to September II, 2002.

,--.

7.

MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS

Commissioner Sullivan noted that he had seen the revised design for the service station,
and was shocked at how attractive it was, compared to the previous design. He noted that
he had read the minutes, but did not see any discussion about photovoltaic panels on the
gas station canopies.

Mr. Iserson noted that did not occur, but the issue was brought up.

Commissioner Kameny noted that he read an account in the Herald regarding the City
Council's panel discussion regarding traffic and signalization at Bernal. He asked for
clarification of that discussion.

Mr. Iserson noted that they were considering doing the same thing at Bernal as is in place
at Sycamore. The metering lights would be placed on the off-ramp, and people would
start using Bernal.

Commissioner Sullivan noted that people had already started using Bernal, and staff
recommended implementation of metering lights at Bernal, Stanley, and Hidden Valley.
Council did not want to implement that until it was perfected at Sunol.

-

Plarming Commission Minutes

August 28, 2002

Page 21
