E. Gaylord, superintendent of the Southern <br />Pacific Company with regards to the revised agreement. On motion of Councilman Madsen, <br />seconded by Councilman Olesen and with all the councilmen present in favor *of same, Resolut- <br />ion #1615 was adopted authorizing the mayor and the clerk on behalf of the Town of <br />Pleasanton "to enter into an agreement with the Southern Pacific Company and the Central <br />.Pacific Railroad Company for the making and construction of the improvements of the <br />Neal Street crossing over the right -of -way of the Southern Pacific Company and the Central <br />Pacific Railroad Company, pursuant to the decision of the Railroad Commission of the <br />State of California, made in--the matter of the Application of the Town of Pleasanton, a <br />municipal corporation, for order to widen and improve crossing,.Application�O. 20653." <br />There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 8:30 to meet in regular <br />session, Monday evening, June 7th at 8 o'clock. yf <br />Pleasanton, California, June 7, 1937• <br />The Town Council of the Town of Pleasanton met at 8 o'clock on the above written <br />date. Before roll call the Clerk informed the Board that for many years a precedent <br />had been established where the chairman of the finance committee presided and'a-eted as <br />the Mayor in the absence of the Mayor. Accordingly with no object✓,to same, Uouncilman <br />Rivolta took Mayor Orloff's place and proceeded with the regular order of business. <br />Present at roll call were: CouncilTnen Madsen, Amaral, Olesen and Rivolta.
