5. Meterin~. Owner, at his sole expense, shall install and main- <br />tain a satisfactory device or devices to meter and record the time of dis- <br />charge and the amount of waste discharged to the City's sewers and shall record <br />and report daily flows to the City on a monthly basis or as may be required <br />by City. <br /> <br /> 6. Inspection ~f Equipment and Records. The Director of Public <br />Works, or his authorized representative(s), shall inspect the equipment re- <br />quired by this Permit to insure that it is satisfactory to City. Owner, at <br />his own expense, shall replace any equipment which is deemed to be unsatis- <br />factory by City and shall have it corrected within the time required by City <br />in its notification. All such notifications shall be in writing. <br /> <br /> The Director of Public Works, or his quthorized representa- <br />tive(s), shall have access at all times to the waste discharge system in order <br />to inspect the same, read the flow meter and obtain samples of the waste and <br />review the records required by the permit and the Ordinance Code. <br /> <br /> 7. Authority to Suspend Discharge. If the waste exceeds any of <br />the prescribed limits at any time, Owner shall immediately suspend discharge <br />until the waste meets the requirements. In the event City determines that the <br />waste does not meet the requi ~ements for discharge, City shall immediately <br />notify Owner or Owner's agent who shall proceed as above. In the event Owner <br />or Owner's agent refuse to act, or delay, or are not available, City or City's <br />authorized agent shall have the authority to immediately suspend discharge. <br /> <br /> 8. ]eeg.. Fees shall be calculated in accordance with the appro- <br />priate City Ordinances and Resolutions as amended and in addition shall include <br />City's costs (including but not limited to, personnel, overhead, benefits and <br />chemicals) for performing monitoring, sampling and testing activities, <br /> <br />-3- <br /> <br /> <br />
