as short- and long-term improvements identified in the above- <br />mentioned study and as deemed necessary by the City Engineer. <br />Developer agrees to participate in the funding of such <br />improvements concurrent with the development of the subject <br />site. The City may require funding by (1) assessment district <br /> <br />or districts in which Developer agrees <br />site; (2) benefit district proceedings; <br />mechanism or combination of mechanisms <br /> <br />to place the subject <br />or (3) any other <br />determined necessary <br /> <br />by the City Engineer and/or the City Attorney. <br /> <br /> IV. FIRE SERVICE STUDY <br /> <br /> Developer agrees to participate in the funding of a <br /> <br />study of the fire service requirements made necessary by the <br />subject project and other major comaercial industrial projects <br />in order to maintain existing levels of fire service in <br />accordance with City's General Plan policies, said study <br />being in progress at this time. The Developer's share of <br />the total cost of the study shall be determined by the City <br />Manager, but shall not exceed $5,000.00. Developer shall <br />pay to the City the Developer's share of the total cost <br />within one (1) month of notification by the City Manager of <br />demand for payment and the amount thereof. The determination <br />of such share in the event'it is not made part of an assessment <br />district, shall be done on an equitable basis. <br /> <br />V. FIP~ SERVICE REQUIRE~ZNTS <br /> <br /> Developer agrees to participate in the financing of the <br /> <br /> fire apparatus, manpower and other fire safety facilities <br /> required to serve the subject project or made necessary due <br /> to the cumulative development of major com~nercial/industrial <br /> <br />~4- <br /> <br /> <br />
