2. Duties of CONSULTING ENGINEER: CONSULTING <br /> ENGINEER agrees to prepare assessment district engineer's <br /> reports and plans and specifications adequate and sufficient <br /> for the construction of roadway improvements made a part of <br /> the "North Pleasanton Improvement District, Project AD 1982-4," <br /> both as currently comtemplated and as may be added to in the <br /> future, as directed by CITY'S Director of Public Works. Said <br /> duties shall be those more specifically detailed in this <br /> agreement as well as such other duties, in conjunction with <br /> <br /> the projects, as directed by the Director of Public Works. In <br /> <br /> connection therewith, CONSULTING ENGINEER shall provide <br /> overall coordination of the project, perform liaison and <br /> <br />· communication functions with CITY staff, California Department <br /> of Transportation, in addition to frequent consultation <br /> service, interpret plans and specifications, prepare <br /> assessment boundary map and assessment diagram, assessment <br /> district engineers report, plans and specifications, and other <br /> engineering services where required. In addition, CONSULTING <br /> ENGINEER agrees to perform certain surveying and inspection <br /> services in conjunction with the projects improvements if so <br /> directed by the Director of Public Works. <br /> <br /> <br />
