The cost of facilities designed by CONSULTING <br />ENGINEER shall be the actual contract construction <br />cost for those facilities constructed plus the <br />estimated construction cost for any facilities <br />designed at request of CITY, but not constructed. <br /> <br /> Work will be performed on a Time and Materials basis <br />(refer to Charge Rate Schedule, Exhibit "A") not to exceed <br />maximum Engineer's Fee "D" as set forth herein for each <br />separate project on which design services are requested and <br />shall include the following: <br /> <br /> a. Provide preliminary work necessary to outline extent <br /> and type of improvements, once location and extent <br /> are approved by CITY. <br /> <br /> b. Preparation of plans and specifications: Plans to <br /> be inked on Mylar or other approved permanent <br /> material and become property of the CITY. <br /> c. Estimates of quantities and costs. <br /> d. Advice regarding award and execution of contract. <br /> e. Check working drawings required of the contractors. <br /> f. Consultation and advice during construction, <br /> <br /> excepting inspection. <br /> <br /> g. Furnish sufficient copies of plans and specifications <br /> <br /> for review purposes. <br /> <br /> h. Furnish thirty five (35) copies each of approved <br /> plans and bound specifications for bidding and <br /> construction purposes. <br /> <br /> <br />
