15.2 <br /> <br />Effective July 1, 1982 for the purpose of providing <br />either of the aforementioned medical plan coverages to <br />employees who retire for.service !(not disability) on <br />or after their fiftieth (50th) birthday and who have a <br />minimum of fifteen (15) years of service with the Pleasanton <br />fire department, the City shall contribute an amount not <br />to exceed fifty ($50.00) per month per employee. Said <br />monthly city contribution shall terminate on the employee's <br />sixty-second (62nd) birthday. <br /> <br />Dental <br /> <br />Effective July 1, 1982, the City shall contribute an <br />amount not to exceed thirty-four dollars and fourteen <br />cents ($34.14) per month per employee to provide dental <br />care benefits under the City's present Banker's Life <br />Nebraska Plan for the individual employee and eligible <br />dependents. Effective July 1, 1983, the City's <br />contribution shall be increased to an amount not to <br />exceed thirty-seven dollars ($37.00) per month per <br />employee, except that should the monthly premium for <br />the present Banker's Life Nebraska dental plan for the <br />employee and eligible dependents on July 1, 1983, be more <br />than thirty-seven dollars ($37.00), the City's maxfmum <br />monthly contribution shall be increased on July 1, 1983 <br />an additional amount equal to one-half of the dollar <br />difference between said Banker's Life monthly premium <br />and thirty-seven dollars ($37.00). <br /> <br />15.3 <br /> <br />Life, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Long Term <br />Disability <br /> <br />The City shall contribute an amount necessary to provide <br />life, accidental death and dismemberment, and long term <br />disability insurance under the City's present Standard <br />Insurance Company Group Policy for the individual <br />employee; provided~ however, that in no event shall the <br />City be obligated to contribute an amount in excess of <br />One Dollar and seven cents ($1.07) per One Hundred <br />Dollars ($100) of monthly salary of the first $2250 of <br />monthly salary not to exceed a total contribution of <br />Twenty-four Dollars and eight cents ($24.08) per month <br />per employee. <br /> <br />Section 16. Retirement <br /> <br />Effective July 1, 1982, the City shall pay the employee's <br />contribution to the Public Employees' Retirement System <br />(PERS). The amount of said City payment shall equal <br />but not exceed nine pgrcent (9.0%) of the employee's <br />compensation subject to retirement contributions. <br /> <br />-15- <br /> <br /> <br />
