14.3 <br /> <br />Leaves Resulting from Subpoena <br /> <br />Leaves of absence with pay shall be granted to a person <br />while going to and from court and answering a subpoena <br />as a witness. The employee shall be paid the difference <br />between his/her full salary and any payment received by <br />him/her, excepf travel pay, for such duty. <br /> <br />14.4 <br /> <br />Military Leave <br /> <br />Military leave shall be granted in accordance with the <br />provisions of law. All employees entitled to military <br />leave shall give the Appointing Authority an opportunity <br />within the limits of military regulations to determine <br />when such leave shall be taken. <br /> <br />Section 15. Health and Welfare Coverage <br /> <br />15.1 <br /> <br />Hospital and Medical <br /> <br />Effective July 1, 1982, the City shall contribute an <br />amount not to exceed one-hundred twenty-two dollars <br />($122.00) per month per employee to provide health care <br />coverage to employees and their eligible dependent~ <br />under either the present Blue Cross or Kaiser "S" health <br />care plans. Effective October 1, 1982, the City shall <br />amend its Kaiser "S" health care plan to include the <br />Kaiser vision care and prescription drug options. Also <br />effective October 1, 1982, the City shall contribute <br />an amount not to exceed one-hundred twenty-nine dollars <br />($129.00) per month per employee to provide health <br />care coverage to employees and their eligible dependents <br />under either the present Blue Cross or amended Kaiser <br />"S" health care plans. <br /> <br /> / <br />Effective July 1, 1983, the City shall contribute an <br />amount not to exceed one-hundred thirty-nine dollars <br />($139.00) per month per employee to provide health care <br />coverag~ to employees and their eligible dependents <br />under either of the present Blue Cross or amended <br />Kaiser "S" health care plans. Except, however, if on <br />July 1, 1983 the monthly premium for the Kaiser "S" <br />health care plan (including the vision care and pre- <br />scription drug options) full family coverage be in excess <br />of one-hundred thirty nine dollars ($139.00) the City's <br />maximum monthly contribution per employee for either <br />the present Blue Cross or Kaiser health care plans <br />~hall be inc'~ased on July 1, 1983 by an additional amount <br />equal to one-half the dollar difference between said <br />monthly Kaiser premium and one-hundred thirty-nine <br />dollars ($139.00). <br /> <br />-14- <br /> <br /> <br />
