Final design <br /> is to be limited to the replacement structure only, <br /> excluding roadway approaches. <br /> <br /> b. City of Pleasanton requirements: <br /> <br /> (1) The proposed Bernal Avenue Underpass structure <br /> at Western Pacific Milepost 41.1, including roadway <br /> approaches within the limits shown as solid lines <br /> on Figure 1.3-8 of the Final Environmental Impact <br /> Report dated February 1979. ~ <br /> <br /> (2) The proposed Del Valle Parkway Underpass struc- <br /> ture at Western Pacific Milepost 41.8, including <br /> roadway approaches between the existing stub end 6f <br /> Del Valle Parkway and Santa Rita Road, but exclud- <br /> ing the traffic signal at the Santa Rita-Del Valle <br /> Parkway intersection. <br /> <br /> c. Additional design requirements for AGENCIES: <br /> <br /> (1) Coordinate temporary and permanent track con- <br /> nections and signal work~ as necessary, to connect <br /> Southern Pacific and Western Pacific mainline tracks <br /> at Niles, Sunol, and Pleasanton, for which designs <br /> may be prepared by Railroads. <br /> <br /> (2) Other miscellaneous work as required to imple- <br /> <br /> ment the basic track consolidation program. <br /> <br /> d. Design requirements excluded: <br /> (1) Except for the cul-de-sac and closure of the <br /> existing Bernal Avenue crossing and the private grade <br /> crossing near Del Valle Parkway, both involving the <br /> Western Pacific Railroad, the scope of work excludes <br /> all street reconstruction or removal work at rail- <br /> <br /> <br />
