possible Federal Grade Crossing Improvement Funds admin- <br /> istered by the PUC and the California Department of <br /> Transportation. <br /> <br /> 3. Coordinate as necessary with the Federal Highway Admin- <br /> istration in connection with portions Of the Project <br /> which may be funded under Section 203 of the Federal-Aid <br /> Highway Act. <br /> <br /> 4. Coordinate design activities for portions of the Project <br /> which may be designed by AGENCIES. <br /> <br />5. Consult with the Alameda County Flood Control and Water <br /> Conservation Dibtrict with respect to drainage flow <br /> requirements, channel clearances, and alignment required <br /> for affected drainage channels or drains at any of the <br /> separation sites or where new railroad track connections <br /> are proposed. <br /> <br />6. Coordinate as required with public and private utility <br /> agencies whose lines may be affected by the proposed <br /> Project. <br /> <br />7. Maintain continuous liaison with AGENCIES, Railroads, <br /> State, and other interested utility or public agencies. <br /> Submit plans and suitable documentation to applicable <br /> agencies for review and approval. <br /> <br />8. Provide continuing consultation and advice to AGENCIES <br /> on all matters relating to the Project. <br /> <br />9. Present monthly progress reports to AGENCIES and, on <br /> request, participate in presentations before Board of <br /> SuperviSors, City Council, or other public bodies. <br /> <br />B. ENGINEER'S DESIGN RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br /> Upon execution of this Agreement by all parties hereto, <br />ENGINEER shall proceed with final design plans, except for <br />those portions of the Project for which AGENCIES reserve <br />the right to perform ~heir own design. <br /> <br />-3- <br /> <br /> <br />
