AGREEMENT FOR APPRAISAL SERVICES <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into by MELVIN P. <br />NELSON and ~RVIN CASALINA, real estate appraisers, whose. <br />address is 4871 Golden Road, Pleasanton, California 94566 <br />(hereinafter referred to as "Appraisers"), and the CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON, a municipal corporation (hereinafter referred to <br />as "City"). <br /> <br /> RECITALS <br /> <br /> 1. City has determined to widen Hopyard Road and realign <br />Johnson Drive east of Hopyard Road, and the widening and <br />realignment require the acquisition of certain private property <br />and the payment of just compensation therefort City intends <br />to off-set the costs of acquisition by providing certain <br />additional improvements to certain affected fee owners and <br />lessees. <br /> <br /> 2. City desires the services of an appraiser in order <br />to establish a basis for the payment of just compensation for <br />property to be acquired, including the value of any of~-setting <br />land and/or improvements, <br /> <br /> 3. Appraisers are duly licensed and qualified real <br />estate appraisers, experienced in providing real estate <br />appraisals for roadway improvements, including appraising <br />commercial and industrialproperties, lessees' interests, and <br />exchanges, and have offered their services for the purposes <br />specified in this agreement. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
