CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />AL~J4EDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-402 <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF APPRAISAL SERVICES CONTRACT WITH <br />NELSON AND CASALINA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />City has determined to realign Johnson Drive east <br />of Hopyard Road, and to widen Hopyard Road near its <br />intersection with Johnson Drive, and the realignment <br />requires the acquisition of certain private property <br />and the payment of just compensation therefor; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />City desires the services of an appraiser in order <br />to establish a basis for the payment of just compensation <br />for property to be acquired, including the value <br />of any off-setting land and/or improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Melvin P. Nelson and Marvin Casalina are duly <br />licensed and qualified real estate appraisers, <br />experienced in providing real estate appraisals <br />for roadway improvements, including appraising <br />commercial and industrial properties, lessees' <br />interests, and exchanges, and have offered their <br />services for the purposes specified above; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> Approves the Agreement for Appraisal Services <br />between the City of Pleasanton and Melvin P. Nelson <br />and Marvin Casalina, a copy of which is attached <br />hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by <br />this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the mayor to execute the above-described <br /> agreement. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 12, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> Macdonald, City Attorney <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Butler <br /> .B~UTLE/~, MAYOR <br /> <br /> <br />
