29666-1798 <br /> <br />PLEASANTON TREATMENT PLANT <br />AND CORPORATION YARD <br /> <br /> SITE UTILIZATION STUDY <br /> <br />TASK I INVENTORY OF EXISTING SITE CONDITIONS <br /> <br />1.1 <br /> <br />Ruth and Going Engineers and Planners will review and analyze existing plans, <br />maps, etc., provided by appropriate City staff. Items to be studied will <br />include existing buildings and structures~ overhead and underground utilities, <br />and historical uses and land filling operations on the site. <br /> <br />1.2 <br /> <br />Ruth and Going will have prepared a tO-scale aerial photo and planametric <br />topo map for the entire site to identify and locate major facilities~ structures <br />and surface elevations. <br /> <br />1.3 <br /> <br />Ruth and Going team members will meet with a group of appropriate staff <br />members selected by the Director of Public Works. The purpose of this session <br />will be to discuss the accuracy of information compiled and analyzed in Task <br />l.l; to determine the list of potential uses for the site; and discuss the <br />functional relationships of the potential uses. Should it be necessary following <br />this meeting, individual Ruth and Going team members will meet individually <br />with various City staff to more fully discuss their input. <br /> <br />TASK II ASSESSMENT OF ALTERNATIVE USES <br /> <br />2.1 <br /> <br />Based on discussions held in Task 1.3, Ruth and Going wilt analyze the <br />functional relationships and spatial needs of existing and future uses of the <br />site. <br /> <br />The early focus of this work task will be to determine the site's <br />appropriateness for the proposed Fire Department training tower. In addition~ <br />the appropriate size and configuration o the land which could be sold to the <br />private sector will be analyzed. <br /> <br /> <br />
