2. Contractor's Services. Contractor shall diligently and <br /> <br />expeditiously provide professional transportation assistance to tile <br /> <br />City as the Assistant to the City Manager may direct. Professional <br /> <br />transportation assistance shall include, but not be limited to, the <br /> <br />tollowing: <br /> <br />Under the direct supervision of the Assistant to the <br />City Manager, act as liaison and staff support to the <br />firm of DKS Associates in the preparation of a transit <br />p].ar~ to meet the local txansit needs of the cities of <br />Pleasanton, Dub]in, and the surrounding ~incorporated <br />area or Alameda County, as detailed in the contract betwuen <br />the Cj. ty and DKS Associates dated <br /> <br />Assist City staff and DKS Associates in the development of <br />valley wide transit data. <br /> <br />Monitor delivery of project reports by DKS Associates by <br />task and by date. <br /> <br />Review project reports prior to meeting with City staff, <br />DKS, and other interested parties as elements of transit plan <br />are developed and proposed for adoption by local agencies. <br /> <br />Provide local assistance as directed by the Assistant to <br />the City Manager. <br /> <br />Prepare and submit to City a monthly progress report to <br />include a final report, the latter to be submitted no later <br />than two weeks following s~bmission of DKS Associates final <br />report. <br /> <br />g. Ensure DKS Associates' contract compliance. <br /> <br />3, Sufficiency of Work. Contractor agrees that all professional <br /> <br />transportation assistance shall be adequate and sufficient to meet <br /> <br />the purposes for which it is performed. Consultant represents to <br /> <br />City, and City is relying upon the representation, that her work <br /> <br />will conform to the professional standards normally exercised by <br /> <br />professional transportation consultants in the State of California. <br /> <br />4. Title to Work. <br /> <br />All docnments, data, maps and reports prepared <br /> <br />by Contractor under this agreemerit, shall be considered tha property <br /> <br />of the City and shall be turned over to the City at the completion <br /> <br />of the services to be performed. <br /> <br /> -2-. <br /> <br /> <br />
