5. Payment. For those services to be rendered hereunder City shall <br /> pay Contractor at the rate of $25.00 per hour. No compensation <br /> shall be paid to Contractor so as to exceed the budget of $2,800.00 <br /> established by the City for this contract without the written <br /> authorization of the City Manager. <br /> <br /> Payment shall be made monthly upon the presentation to the City by <br /> the Contractor of the appropriate invoices and supporting data <br /> as required by the City in meeting its financial reporting obli- <br /> gations to the Metropolitan Transportation Conm]ission. Contractor <br /> shall submit a monthly progress report to the City with,each <br /> monthly billing. <br /> <br /> 6. Term. The term of this agreement shall begin on August 22, <br /> 1983, and end November 30, 1983. At the option of the City Manager, <br /> this agreement may be extended under the same terms and conditions <br /> for a period of up to one (1) month. <br /> <br />7. Termination for Convenience of City. City may terminate this <br /> <br />agreement at any time by mailing a notice in writing to Contractor <br />that the agreement is terminated. The agreement shall be deemed <br />terminated two (2) days following the mailing of said notice, and <br />no further work shall be performed by Contractor. In the event tile <br />agreement is so terminated, Contractor shall be paid for the time <br />spent up to the time the agreement is deemed terminated. <br /> <br />8. Work Schedule. Contractor shall normally work a minimum of <br /> <br />four (4) hours to a maximum of eight (8) ho~rs per week d~ring the <br />term of this agreement. This weekly schedule of hours to be worked <br />by the Contractor may, with the advanced approval of the Assistant <br />to the City Manager, be altered but in no event shall the Contractl~r's <br />hours of work during the term o~ tl~is agrcement exceed an average of <br /> <br />eight (8) hours per week. <br /> <br /> -3- <br /> <br /> <br />
