AGREEMENT <br /> <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON SPORTS AND RECREATION PARK-- <br /> ZONE 7 HOPYARD WELL FIELD IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br /> This agreement is made and entered into this day of , <br /> <br />1983 by and between ZONE 7 of ALAMEDA COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL AND WATER CONSERVATION <br />DISTRICT (hereinafter referred to as ZONE 7) and the CITY OF PLEASANTON (herein- <br />after referred to as CITY), a municipal corporation, based on the following <br />understanding: <br /> <br />RECITALS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, CITY proposes to develop the front 20 acres of the Pleasanton <br />Sports and Recreation Park into a softball complex and other park amenities under <br />Project 83-2 (hereinafter referred to as Project); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, ZONE 7 has existing public water supply facilities (water wells, <br />pipelines and appurtenances) situated on this site; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is desired that certain existing ZONE 7 facilities be <br />relocated, removed, replaced or modified in order to facilitate the planned park <br />development of the site by the CITY; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the elevation of the site is inadequate and requires additional <br />fill material of approximately 30,000 cubic yards to ensure proper site drainage; <br />and <br /> <br /> ~Y~EREAS, ZONE 7 has plans to dredge a portion of the Arroyo Mocho and <br />the amount of material from the dredging is approximately 30,000 cubic yards; and <br /> <br /> <br />
