extend to lands within its sewer area, but outside its corporate <br />limits as described in Section 6.b. hereof. City's responsiblities <br />and ownership rights do not include District's headworks, any <br />facilities related to the U.S. Army Camp Parks System, the main trunk <br />sewer connecting District's collection system to the District's <br />Plant, or the pump ~tation and meter on the East Amador line. <br /> <br /> "District shall retain ownership of and responsibility for the <br />operation and maintenance of the sewage collection system located <br />within its boundaries (north of Interstate 580), the main trunk sewer <br />connecting said collection system to District's Plant, and all sewage <br />collection facilities located within the physical boundaries of <br />District's Plant except as provided in this section for City's <br />pre-headworks lines. District shall not be deemed to own or to be <br />responsible for any portion of the collection system exclusively <br />serving the U.S. Army Camp Parks system. Nothing herein shall affect <br />District's rights to enforce or otherwise exercise its rights <br />regarding usage and maintenance of the Camp Park's sewer lines and <br />capacity by sub-contractors of the U.S. Army. <br /> <br /> "Either party, upon giving reasonable notice, shall have the <br />right to make inquiries and inspections regarding the operation and <br />maintenance of the other party's collection system." <br /> <br /> 3. Section 12 of the 1978 Agreement is hereby amende~ to read <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> "SECTION 12. LIMITATIONS ON VOLUME AND CHARACTERISTICS OF <br />SEWAGE. <br /> <br /> "The parties mutually agree that the primary purpose of <br /> <br /> <br />
