CONTRACT FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this day of , 1984, <br />by and between the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal corporation (hereinafter referred <br />to as "City"), and LANDUSE, a Division of Creegan & D'Angelo (hereinafter referred to <br />as "Consultant"). <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> A. Consultant is qualified to provide, and experienced in providing landscape <br />architectural services, and has offered its services for the purposes specified in this <br />Agreement. <br /> <br /> B. In the judgment of the City, it is necessary and advisable to employ the services <br />of Consultant for the purpose of preparing design and construction drawings and providing <br />construction staking for Amador Community Park. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants, agreements, and <br />conditions contained herein, City and Consultant agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Consultant's Services. Consultant shall diligently perform the services and <br />furnish the materials, reports, maps, and so forth as hereinafter set forth: <br /> <br />1. Preparation of schedule and site constraints <br /> <br />Programming and goal development <br />A. Community input meeting <br />B. City requirement input meeting <br /> <br /> Planning and schematics <br /> A. Compile input and prepare master plan <br />B. Present to city to develop program priorities, cost <br /> alternatives and construction phasing recommendations. <br /> <br />tradeof f s, <br /> <br />Construction Documents <br />A. Meeting with city to-receive final adjustments <br />B. Preparation of final construction documents <br />C. Delivery of final construction documents <br />D. The final construction documents will include all documents necessary <br /> for the city to call for bids <br />E. Consultant shall furnish reproducible mylars of construction <br /> documents to the City. <br /> <br />Construction staking will be limited to providing one set of stakes each <br />for rough grading, underground storm and sanitary sewers, curb and gutter, <br />building, and paved parking areas. It shall not include staking for any <br />landscape features or landscape improvements such as berms, planting, <br />irrigation, sidewalks or electrical. Costs to replace stakes lost or <br />destroyed will be an extra charge based on time and materials. <br /> <br /> <br />
