Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC), the California <br />Transportation Commission (CTC), the California Department of <br />Transportation (CALTRANS), and the Federal Highway Administration <br />(FHWA) on design, environmental, and administrative activities <br />necessary to insure timely completion of freeway interchange and <br />other freeway improvements planned for the NPID. <br /> <br />The following is a general list of tasks that will need to be <br />accomplished with each of the projects: <br /> <br />1. Hopyard Road (Interim Project) <br /> <br />Complete the plans, specifications and cost estimate (P <br />S & E) <br /> <br />- Secure necessary permits from CALTRANS for construction <br /> <br />Develop an acceptable signal maintenance agreement <br />between CALTRANS and the cities of Pleasanton and Dublin <br /> <br />2. Hopyard Road <br /> <br />Secure agreement with CALTRANS and FHWA on the design <br />(concept approval) <br /> <br />- Determine the relationship with proposed BART LPX line <br /> <br />Determine the relationship with the future 1-580/I-680 <br />interchange, including defining the interchange project, <br />work with Dublin, Pleasanton, and Alameda County to <br />include R/W protection and to precisely define R/W <br />needs. <br /> <br />Insure that the draft environmental document (Neg. Dec.) <br />is completed and forwarded to CALTRANS HQ and FHWA for <br />concurrence and approval <br /> <br />Insure completion of the project report (PR) as early as <br />possible <br /> <br />Monitor design and insure completion of the P S & E (by <br />State?) in early 1985 <br /> <br />Secure R/W certification (if required) by January 1, <br />1985 <br /> <br />Secure draft of City/State Agreements in late 1984/early <br />1985 <br /> <br />Develop an investment strategy for the City/State escrow <br />accounts to insure adequate funds (from NPID) <br /> <br />Review JPA with Dublin allowing Pleasanton to handle <br />project within Dublin city limits <br /> <br />3. Stoneridge Road <br /> <br />- 2 - <br /> <br /> <br />
