Secure concept approval on design from CALTRANS and FHWA <br />(may require concept approval on the 580/680 interchange <br />project) <br /> <br />Secure "new connection approval" from CTC and FHWA <br />(Washington D.C. level) <br /> <br />Determine the relationship with the future 1-580/I-680 <br />interchange, as above <br /> <br />Determine environmental requirements (Neg. Dec., <br />separate EIR/EIS with 580/680 project, etc.) <br /> <br />Consider use of Hacienda Business Park, Phase II EIR to <br />satisfy requirements for Stoneridge environmental <br />document <br /> <br />Determine lead agency responsibility for design -- City <br />of Pleasanton or CALTRANS <br /> <br />Establish time line for PR, R/W certification, <br />City/State Agreement, P S & E submittal, construction, <br />etc. <br /> <br />Review possibility of state participation under new <br />interchange policy (50%?) <br /> <br />Review cost estimates to insure adequate funds from the <br />NPID <br /> <br />Review design of adjacent frontage roads (State has <br />concerns) <br /> <br />4.
