PUD- 84 -21, Application of EVH Partnership and the Roman Catholic Bishop of Oakland <br />for PUD zoning and development plan approval of a 262 unit multi family residential <br />development and related facilities on an approximately 13 acre site located imme- <br />diately southwest of Bernal Avenue (extension) and the Southern Pacific right -of- <br />way. The property consists of approximately 8 acres currently within the City limits <br />and approximately 5 acres currently outside of the City limits for which this action <br />shall constitute a prezoning <br />Consider Adoption of Negative Declaration <br />Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 85:49) dated January 22, 1985, regarding this <br />matter. <br />Mavor Mercer declared the public hearing open on the application and the negative <br />declaration. <br />Mr. Fred Howell, partner of EVH Partnership, stated that negotiations have been <br />worked out with City and County of San Francisco relative to the purchase of a piece <br />of property, subject to approval of the proposed project by Council tonight, and sub- <br />ject to conditions of approval in the staff report. He reviewed the proposed project <br />and traffic circulation with the acquisition of the land from San Francisco. He stated <br />the Partnership is going through the mortgage revenue bond program financing and he <br />requested Council to adopt a bond inducement resolution in order to proceed with this <br />arrangement. <br />Mr. Anthony Delucci, representing City and County of San Francisco, confirmed the <br />transaction relative to land acquisition by Mr. Howell, subject to San Francisco PUC <br />approval and subject to approval by the Board of Supervisors. He did not anticipate <br />any problems relative to approval. <br />No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br />There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed <br />on the application and the negative declaration. <br />8. <br />1/22/85 <br />
