BACKGROUND <br />The Department of Parks and Community Services, contracts for umpiring services for <br />the adult softball program. The services provided include selecting, training, <br />scheduling, and supervising umpires for adult softball league games and tournament <br />play. <br />An RFP process was conducted from November 12, 2008 through December 8, 2008. <br />Two (2) organizations submitted proposals and Mission Valley Sports Officials, Inc. was <br />selected based on their price and outstanding reputation in the softball community.
