FOR ADULT SOFTBALL UMPIRES <br />SUMMARY <br />The City has negotiated a new three (3) year agreement with Mission Valley Sports <br />Officials, Inc. The Agreement provides for a raise in per-game fees, with the increases <br />offset by adult softball league fees over the term of the contract. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />That the City Council approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the attached <br />three (3) year Agreement with Mission Valley Sports Officials, Inc. (Attachment 1). <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />The new agreement represents an increase of 6% over the previous three (3) year <br />agreement. Total funds paid for the contract are not to exceed $120,000 in the first <br />year, $120,000 in the second year, and $126,000 in the final year. The contract fees <br />are reimbursed through the softball program's league and the tournament fees are <br />invoiced directly to the various user groups (Attachment 2). <br /> <br />
