· 12.2 Dental <br /> <br />Effective January 1, 1982, the City shall contribute an amount '. <br />necessary to. provide dental care benefits under the present <br />Bankers Life Nebraska Plan for the individual employee and eligible <br />dependents; provided, however, that in no event shall the City be <br />obligated to contribute an amount in ~xcess of Thirty Four Dollars <br />and Fourteen Cents ($34.14) per month per employee to provide the <br />aforesaid coverage. Effective January 1, 1983, the City's maximum <br />monthly contribution for said coverage shall be increased to ThirZy <br />Seven Dollars ($37.00) per month per Employee. <br /> <br />12.3 <br /> <br />Life, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Long Term Disability <br /> <br /> The City shall contribute an amount necessary to provide life, acci- <br /> dental death and dismemberment, and long term disability insurance <br /> under the ~ s present Standard Insurance Company Group policy for <br /> th=~: individual employee; provided, ho~..zever, that in no event shall <br /> the City be obligated to contribute an amount in excess of One Dollar <br /> and Seven Cents ($1.07) per One Hundred Dollars ($100) of monthly <br /> salary of the first $2250. of monthly salary not to exceed a total <br /> contribution of Twenty-Four Dollars and Eight Cents ($24.08) per <br /> month per employee. <br /> <br />Section 13. Retirement <br /> <br />Effective January 1, 1982, the City shall pay the emptoyee's contri- <br />bution to the Public Employees' Retirement System (FERS). The amount <br />of said City pa>~ent shall equal but not ~xceed nine percent (9%) of <br />the employee's compensation subject to retirement contributions. <br /> <br />Section ]_4. Uniforms <br /> <br />The City shall provide all necessary safety and protection clothing, <br />as defined by the City Manager. The City shall provide fifty per- <br />cent (50%) of the initial purchase price of uniforms for those <br />employees required to ~.xear a prescribed uniform. <br /> <br />14. ! <br /> <br />Uniform Allo~zance <br /> <br />Effective January 1, 1982, the uniforT..~. a!lovance shall be increased <br />to Three Ilundred Fifty Dollars ($350.00) per 3, ear, such allo~-mnce to <br />be paid in one payment in April.
