A -Scope of Work and Cost <br />^ Certi(icateofLrswance <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />FOR DF;SIGN AND <br />URBAN PLANNING CONSULTING <br />THIS AGREEMENT is entered into this _ __ day of March 2009, between the CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON, a municipal corporation ("City"), and Jerry Iserson whose address <br />is ,and telephone number is , ("ConsultanC'). <br />RECITALS <br />A. Consultant is qualified and experienced in providing design and urban planning <br />consultant services for the purposes specified in this Agreement. <br />B. City finds it necessary and advisable to use the services of Consultant for the purposes <br />of the Hacienda Business Park Planned Unit Development (PUD) Modification and <br />Development Plan, as provided in this Agreement. <br />NOW, THERF,FORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and conditions in this <br />Agreement, City and Consultant agree as follows: <br />1. Consultant's Services. Consultant shall diligently perform the services and furnish <br />the materials, reports, drawings, and related materials described in Exhibit A, Scope of Work and <br />Cost Estimate, attached and incorporated to the extent consistent with this Agreement. <br />Consultant may provide additional design and urban planning services for the City as <br />agreed to by Brian Dolan, Director of Commtmity Development and Consultant. This <br />Agreement does not obligate the City to utilize Consultant exclusively for any additional <br />services, and the City reserves the right to select other consultants for these services based ou <br />City need. <br />2. City Assistance. In order to assist Consultant in this work, City shall provide, if <br />necessary, background information about the Hacienda Business Park's prior approvals, <br />entitlements, infonmation about available public utilities, mapping from the City's geographic <br />information services system, and related information. <br />3. Staff. Consultant shall assign Jerry Iserson to execute the work described herein, <br />who may not be replaced without written consent of City. <br />4. Term. Consultant shall begin work in 2009 at the direction of Nelson Fialho, City <br />Manager. The work as described in Exhibit A, Scope of Work and Cost Estimate, shall be <br />completed by December 2009 or later date as mutually determined by City staff and Consultant, <br />including extensions to accommodate City meeting scheduling or required public review periods <br />for environmental documents. <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
