PROPOSAL FOR PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT SURVEY UPDATE PROJECT N0.085021 SCOPE OF WORK completion level, respectively. AMS will provide the City's project manager with a short report and Pavement Condition Tndex (PCI) calculations will be made available to show rating variances. Database AMS Consulting utilizes paperless technology and inspects utilizing handheld computers. All inspection quantity inforration is housed on the computers and backed up on a daily basis to prevent the loss of information. The project manager for AMS will conducted quality control on all imported information into t:he Street5aver system to ensure that the imported information matches field information. Deliverables: ~ QA/QC Reports that show PCI variances Field Inspections Task 3.0 -Database Update Following the final approval from the City's project manager, the AMS staff will perform data entry on all pavement surface distresses found during inspection. In addition, AMS will also perform data entry on recent maintenance and rehabilitation work since the last update of the pavement management >ystem. All imported information uploaded to the City's database will be reviewed and cross referenced by AMS to ensure consistency and accuracy. Any discrepancies will be resolved. Following all updated database information AMS will perform the necessary system calculations. Deliverables: ~ Inspection forms (pdf) ~ Pavement Condition Index (PCI) Calculation Report ~ Ma'mtenance and 12ehabilitation ReporC Task 4.0 -Executive Summary Following the data entry, AMS will perform a PCI calculation of all sections that have been updated with inspections and maintenance and rehabilitation information. At the City's discretion AMS will be available to work with the City staff to perform calculations. Budget Options Reporting (BOR) of the required reports that must be submitted to MTC will be generated after PCI Calculations. AMS will be available to the City to provide knowledge transfer on how to generate Che required reports. This knowledge transfer will make the City self sufficient in submitting the required documents for certification with MTC. Deliverables: ~ PCI Calculation Report ~ BOR Reports (Requirement for MTC Certification) Current Budget -Using the City's current annual funding for the next 5-years. Constant PCI - Cost to keep the overall network PCI constant at the City's current PCI.
