<br />PROPOSAL FOR <br />PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT SURVEY UPDATE <br />PROJECT N0.085021 <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />completion level, respectively. AMS will provide the City's project manager with a short report <br />and Pavement Condition Tndex (PCI) calculations will be made available to show rating <br />variances. <br />Database <br />AMS Consulting utilizes paperless technology and inspects utilizing handheld computers. All <br />inspection quantity inforration is housed on the computers and backed up on a daily basis to <br />prevent the loss of information. The project manager for AMS will conducted quality control on <br />all imported information into t:he Street5aver system to ensure that the imported information <br />matches field information. <br />Deliverables: <br />~ QA/QC Reports that show PCI variances <br />Field Inspections <br />Task 3.0 -Database Update <br />Following the final approval from the City's project manager, the AMS staff will perform data <br />entry on all pavement surface distresses found during inspection. In addition, AMS will also <br />perform data entry on recent maintenance and rehabilitation work since the last update of the <br />pavement management >ystem. All imported information uploaded to the City's database will <br />be reviewed and cross referenced by AMS to ensure consistency and accuracy. Any <br />discrepancies will be resolved. Following all updated database information AMS will perform <br />the necessary system calculations. <br />Deliverables: <br />~ Inspection forms (pdf) <br />~ Pavement Condition Index (PCI) Calculation Report <br />~ Ma'mtenance and 12ehabilitation ReporC <br />Task 4.0 -Executive Summary <br />Following the data entry, AMS will perform a PCI calculation of all sections that have been <br />updated with inspections and maintenance and rehabilitation information. At the City's <br />discretion AMS will be available to work with the City staff to perform calculations. Budget <br />Options Reporting (BOR) of the required reports that must be submitted to MTC will be <br />generated after PCI Calculations. AMS will be available to the City to provide knowledge <br />transfer on how to generate Che required reports. This knowledge transfer will make the City <br />self sufficient in submitting the required documents for certification with MTC. <br />Deliverables: <br />~ PCI Calculation Report <br />~ BOR Reports (Requirement for MTC Certification) <br />Current Budget -Using the City's current annual funding for the next 5-years. <br />Constant PCI - Cost to keep the overall network PCI constant at the City's <br />current PCI. <br />Plus 5 PCI point increase -Cost to increase overall network by 5 points and <br />stabilizing it over a 5 year period. <br />AMS CONSULTING ~-s <br />
