Tasks to be performed by the Consultant include, <br /> but are not limited to, the following: <br /> <br />Task 1: Identify Seismic Hazards as revised by State laws <br /> <br /> within the Pleasanton Plannin~ Area including: <br /> <br /> A. Surface Faulting <br /> <br /> 1. The locations of active and potentially active <br /> faults will be compiled on a base ma~. Alquist- <br /> Priolo Special Studies Zones will be included on <br /> the maps. The CDMG definition of active and <br /> potentially active faults will be used. <br /> <br /> 2. The past displacement history and estimates of <br /> <br /> maximum credible displacements of active faults <br /> will be discussed in text. <br /> <br /> B. Ground Shaking <br /> 1. All earthquakes of magnitude 5.5 and over having <br /> been reported within 100 Km of the study area <br /> boundary since 1900 will be plotted on a map of <br /> appropriate scale. <br /> <br /> 2. Maximum credible and maximum probable bedrock <br /> accelerations will be presented based on CDMG <br /> criteria.
