Job No. 19447.010
Exhibit A
Task 2.4 Prepare apre-bid estimate of construction value (engineer's estimate), in coordination with
consultant team so that the entire project design will be bid-ready. Landscape Architect will assist
[he Project Civil Engineer and Electrical Engineer in preparing the Bid Documents.
3.0 REIMBURSABLES
Reimbursable expenses directly related to [he Project services above such as printing, plotting,
postage, delivery, travel, etc.
C. HvdroloeistServices-BalanceHvdroloeics
Project Hydrologist shall provide the following general services:
1.0 BACKGROUND AND SITE INVESTIGATIONS -Research, wmpile and review information on existing
drainage infrastructure, existing utility types and locations, extent of potentially contaminated soils (provided
by Berlogar Geotechnical) and other constraints related to the overall Transportation Corridor master planning
process.
2.0 HYDROMODIFICATION MODELING -Based on existing site information and drainage conditions, and
proposed corridor improvements, establish Bay Area Hydrology Model (BAHM) for the corridor from Angela
Street to Ray Street including Lions Wayside and Delucehi Parks. BAHM models will then be used to identify
range of potential Best Management Practices (BMP's) to meet runoff treatment requirements in a cost
efficient and modularly applicable manner.
3.0 PREPARE HYDROMODIFICATION MANAGEMENT PLAN -Develop Hydromodification Management
Plan (HMP) that covers both the larger corridor area defined above, in conceptual terms, as well as the Parking
Lot Project Site in more specific terms. Coordinate with City on draft HMP and collaborate on range of HMP
elements with flexibility for the evolving corridor design.
4.0 PROJECT COORDINATION AND MANAGEMENT -Coordination and Project meetings with the City and
Consultant team to incorporate the HMP solutions for the Parking Lot with the civil and landscape designs.
Coordination with City on [he final HMP work product.
The general services above are fiuther described by the following Task breakdown:
1.0 BACKGROUND AND SITE INVESTIGATIONS
Task L 1 Research, compile and review information on existing infrastructure, existing utilities and locations
and coordinate with Berlogar Geotechnical on soils investigation information relative to potential
soil contamination and interaction with infiltration type HMP solutions.
Task 1.2 Coordination with civil engineer on set-up of [opo base.
Task 1.3 Site visits to assess drainage constraints and observe runoff characteristics.
2.0 HYDROMODIFICATION MODELING
Task 2.1 Coordination with landscape architect and civil engineer to understand proposed layout of Parking
Lot project site improvements to incorporate in the BAHM modeling.
Task 2.2 Develop BAHM modeling for the Parking Lot project drainage and associated drainage for the
project specific area of the corridor. Coordinate interaction of Firehouse Arts Center drainage with
Parking Lot drainage, as needed.
Task 2.3 Develop generalized BAHM modeling for larger corridor area to account for drainage conditions
from future improvements per the Transportation Corridor Master Plan and adjacent drainage
impacting corridor runoff.
Task 2.4 Run BAHM models and optimize Veatment conditions and methods of potential BMP's.
P\19MTofRuMan0acl\19-04J OIOCiIY'Pkuv~mn-hmepeomdot-E.hibn-ASmpc$f 090105 doc
