Job No. 19447.010 <br />Exhibit A <br />Page 3 of 12 <br />2.0 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS -Consultant will prepare landscape azchitectural construction documents <br />which set forth in detail the requirements for the Project in accordance with previously approved design <br />documents, applicable agency and government comments and conditions of approval. Documents will be <br />drawn at appropriate scales and organized into one bid set for inclusion in Civil Engineering Construction <br />Documents. <br />The general services above aze further described by the following Task breakdown: <br />1.0 SCHEMATIC DESIGN <br />Task 1.1 Coordination with the City's consultant for Lions Wayside and Delucchi Parks, the Firehouse Arts <br />Center to complement and merge the parking lot design with the greater linear park master plan <br />process. <br />Task 1.2 Review of the current master plan for Lions Wayside and Delucchi Parks, the Firehouse Arts Center <br />site design, and the greater Transportation Corridor design, as it now stands, in order to propose <br />viable schematic design options for the parking lot. Conduct site visit to assess adjacent property <br />conditions access potential and constraints to design solution. <br />Task 1.3 Meeting with City Staff before start of preliminary work, after submittal of preliminary design <br />report, and during preparation of 50%, 90% and 100% design review stages. (Additional meetings <br />may be required to define the scope, design challenges and design solutions that are consistent with <br />other consultants for this Project and the Firehouse Arts Center and corridor master plan process.) <br />Task 1.4 Coordination with the preparation of the Hydro-modification Master Plan for the Transportation <br />Corridor, from Ray Street south to Angela Street, as well as for Lions Wayside and Delucehi Parks. <br />The Hydro-modification Master Plan may introduce surface and subsurface water treatment and <br />detention retention solutions [hat will affect the parking lot configuration and landscape design. <br />Task 1.5 Landscape Architect will provide one sketch alternative for the parking lot design based on the <br />current park master plan and Arts Center site plan, for Client and City review and approval. The <br />parking lot design will reflect a pazk setting, and will assess the potential for pedestrian access to <br />the Arts Center and access from adjacent properties. The design options will include a vehicular <br />turn-around, suitable for fire trucks and Arts Center loading. Landscape Architect will provide the <br />schematic landscape design for the parking lot and surrounding landscape, including preliminary <br />paving, grading, landscape construction and planting layout for ornamental and mitigation <br />landscape azeas. A preliminary landscape cost estimate and landscape furnishings package will be <br />included. A preliminary plant list will also be provided. Landsrape Architect will provide input to <br />and coordinate with Client and other consultants in preparing the conceptual landscape design, <br />including coordination of grading and drainage. Provide submittal copies of the schematic design <br />documents for Client and agency approvals. Any changes requested by City of Pleasanton staff will <br />be incorporated into the construction documents. <br />2.0 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS <br />Task 2.1 Construction Plans -prepare Landscape Plans showing layout of pedestrian, bicycle and equestrian <br />circulation, site landscape construction elements and furnishings, and fences, with associated <br />construction details, specifications and estimate of probable construction costs. General grading and <br />drainage for landscape improvements will be based on site grading and drainage design for the <br />parking lot provided by Project Civil Engineer, and in coordination with Hydro-modification <br />recommendations. Landscape Architect will review the geotechnical report for the Project to <br />confirm site concrete paving reinforcement requirements. Coordination with Project Structural <br />Engineer with regard to footing designs for fences, arbors and other landscape structures, as may be <br />needed. <br />Task 2.2 Ircigation Plans - prepaze plans showing irrigation service and control connections, valve locations, <br />and layout of lines and heads, with associated details, and specifications per the City Standard <br />Details and Specifications.
