Job No. 19447.010 Exhibit A Page 2 of 12 2.0 RESEARCFUDESIGN BASE Task 2.1 Survey Control -review existing Record of Survey for Project site (prepared by others) and determine appropriateness of site control, including field survey of found site control, monuments, etc. to establish site survey conVOl. Task 2.2 Obtain supplemental field topographic information (precise top of curb grades, utility inverts, precise tree locations, etc.) by ground survey as required for design effort. Task 2.3 Pothole existing underground utilities anticipated to include Kinder Morgan petroleum pipeline and fiber optics line, including field survey of exposed utilities to tie-out horizontal and vertical location of utility. (Including Subconsultant work by potholing ConVactor.) Task 2.4 Review As-built plans and construction documents (as provided by City and other sources). Task 2.5 Prepare electronic base map from survey control, aerial topographic survey and supplemental survey with accurate depiction of Project site limits and existing improvements. Task 2.6 Review of Gestechnical report and coordination on geotechnical recommendations. 3.0 DESIGN/CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS Task 3.1 Preliminary Design analysis and report -assist City and Consultant team in identifying project design constraints and programming required design elements to produce preliminary design concepts that integrate with the City's Transportation Corridor Master Plan. Review and report to City on preliminary design effort and work with City and Consultant team to arrive at a single preferred design concept to be taken forwazd into final design. Task 3.2 Produce calculated electronic horizontal base file based on schematic design electronic files for the preferred design concept, as provided by Landscape Architect. (Calculated electronic horizontal base file to be provided [o Consultant team for production of consVuction drawings.) Task 3.3 Prepare 50% improvement plans showing design of Parking Lot, site utilities, drainage, details and sections, including coordination of hydro-modification treatment design, landscape and lighting designs, and geotechnical considerations. Review plans with City and respond [o City input. Task 3.4 Prepare 90% improvement plans showing design of Parking Lot, site utilities, drainage, details and sections, including coordination of hydro-modification Veatment design, landscape and lighting designs, and geotechnical esnsiderations. Review plans with City and respond to City input. Task 3.5 Prepare Final Improvement Plans showing final design of Parking Lot, site utilities, drainage, details and sections, including coordination of hydro-modification treatment design, landscape and lighting designs, and gestechnical considerations. Process Improvement Plans with City to obtain approval and esnsVuction permits. Prepare Project Specifications per the City Standard details and specifications and as required for project specific items. (Including Subesnsultant work by Structural Engineer - as required for retaining walls or footing designs of arbors, fences or other landscape structures) Task 3.6 Prepare rough construction cos[, engineer's estimate and Bid Documents. 4.0 REIMBURSABLES Reimbursable expenses directly related to the Project -such as prints, plots, copies of exhibits, plans, maps, etc. produced in Items 1.0 - 3.0 above, including outside printing and espying, deliveries, postage, travel, etc. incidental to the services above. B.
