ii. The After School Martial Arts Program- Summer and Winter Camps 1. On non-school days such as Summer school break and Winter school break we will run our Expanded Program. Our program will begin at 8:30am and continue until 6:15pm Monday through Friday. 2. SIGN IN-Upon arrival students will be signed into the program by their parent or guardian as is required by the Health and Safety Code and the policy of the City of Pleasanton Planning Department. 3. Activities: During the day the students will participate in a variety of activities and games and free time. At all times during the course of the day the children will be visually supervised by our staff as is required by the health and safety code. For a sample schedule of a dais activities see Appendix A. 4. Snacks and lunch: During the day the students will partake of two snacks provided by the academy and have a lunch hour). Our snacks and lunch are in accordance with the Health and Safety Code. 5. Martial Arts Classes: Students will participate in 2 martial arts classes each day. 6. Offsite Play Time and Field Trips: Because we do not offer an outside play yard we will betaking our students off site to various parks in the City of Pleasanton to play under Visually supervised conditions. We will take them off site at least once per day. We will in addition take our children on field trips at least 3 times per week to various children oriented businesses in the area such as Boomers, Superfranks, Chuck E Cheese and the like. During the Summer the children will also betaken swimming 1 to 2 times per week. We recognize that children need to be outside during the day and we will satisfy that need. 7. SIGN OUT: At 5:30pm the students dress out into their street clothes and are allowed free time which is directly visually supervised by our staff. The site director, John Pfund positions himself at the front door area to greet arriving parents and sign them out to the parents which is required according to state law and the policy of the city of Pleasanton planning department. 8. Our program closes at 6:15pm 9. OUR SUMMER AND WINTER PROGRAM WILL GENERATE NO PARKING ISSUES: DURING OUR SUMMER AND WINTER PROGRAM MOST OF THE CHILDREN ARRIVE AT THE ACADEMY FROM 8:30AM-9:OOAM. AT THIS TIME IN THE MORNING THERE IS STILL PLENTY OF PARKING BOTH IN OUR PARKING LOT AND OFFSITE ON THE STREET. AND OUR CLIENTS ARRIVE IN STAGGERED TIMES. IN THE EVENING AT 5:30-6:15PM WHEN PICK
